Kerry confirm their 2016 management team following All-Ireland defeat

Big news from Tralee

Tony Cuddihy

Kerry have confirmed that Eamonn Fitzmaurice will stay on as Kerry manager in 2016.

Patrick O’Sullivan, the Kerry County Board chairman, confirmed the news in Tralee at the team’s homecoming on Monday evening.

The Kerry management team of Mikey Sheehy, Diarmuid Murphy and trainer Cian O’Neill will also stay in their current roles, according to RTÉ.

Fitzmaurice’s initial three-year deal to manage the Kerry footballers ended after Sunday’s game, but the popular Lixnaw man is going nowhere.
