The Kerry management team of Mikey Sheehy, Diarmuid Murphy and trainer Cian O’Neill will also stay in their current roles, according to RTÉ.

Fitzmaurice's initial three-year deal to manage the Kerry footballers ended after Sunday's game, but the popular Lixnaw man is going nowhere.
