Legendary WWE commentator Jim Ross suffered a very nasty facial injury after going over some concrete
Get well soon, JR.
Legendary commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross suffered a nasty injury last night, which left him with a badly grazed face and one hell of a black eye.
Ross posted to his Twitter account earlier today - alongside a graphic selfie - saying that he "took a bad bump last night", and that "the concrete went over."
Granted, it's not quite on a par when The Undertaker broke Mankind in half and killed him during their epic Hell in a Cell fight, but it's quite the slobberknocker.
At present, J.R still does some part-time work for the WWE behind the mic. He also commentates for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Fox Sports (mainly boxing), and the occasional MMA fight.
Despite these injuries, Ross vowed that he'd still be attending Oklahoma University's football game this evening.
The Sooners are scheduled to take on the Kansas Jayhawks.
