Leicester City are Premier League champions following Tottenham’s draw

We never thought we’d be saying this at the start of the season…

In one of the greatest underdog stories in recent memory, Leicester City have been crowned Premier League champions following Spurs 2-2 draw with Chelsea.

Spurs went into the game needing a win to keep their Premier League hopes alive going into the final two games of the season.

Goals from Kane and Son set up Spurs nicely but Chelsea pulled level through Gary Cahill and Eden Hazard in a feisty encounter.

Following their draw tonight, Spurs find themselves seven points adrift of league leaders Leicester City with two games remaining.

That means that Claudio Ranieri’s side are the 2015-2016 Premier League champions. Who would have thought we’d be saying that at the start of the season.

We know the feeling Gary, Leicester have been almost everybody’s new favourite team throughout the season with their exciting counter-attacking style and tremendous work rate.
