What looked like Brian O’Driscoll’s final match for Leinster turned into a victory as Matt O’Connor’s side fought back to beat Ulster at the RDS.

The former Ireland captain was forced off in the second half after suffering a nasty looking head injury.

At the point, Leinster were trailing but the home side managed to fight back and will now face the Glasgow Warriors in the final in two weeks’ time.

Ulster had taken a 9-0 lead thanks to three Paddy Jackson penalties, but two kicks from Jimmy Gopperth, an Ian Madigan try and a Gopperth conversion gave Leinster a 13-9 victory as their tilt for silverware this season went on.
