It was overlooked in light of the omission of a certain Irish team-mate from the squad, but today was a special one for Sean O’Brien after he was named in the Lions starting XV for the third test against the Wallabies in Sydney at the weekend.

Having impressed from the bench in Melbourne on Saturday, the Leinster and Ireland flanker was named in the back-row in place of injured Lions skipper Sam Warburton for Saturday’s test and he’ll be looking to give Irish fans something to shout about after Brian O’Driscoll and Jamie Heaslip were both axed from the match-day squad.

The Lions had a recovery session on the beach in Noosa today, giving O’Brien the chance to follow in the footsteps of Ursula Andress, Halle Berry and Daniel Craig with an iconic shot of him emerging from the water, although by the looks of things, he didn’t look quite as ready for the shot as the aforementioned stars of James Bond films over the years.

It’s still a look that’s bound to strike fear into the Aussies on Saturday though.

Give ‘em hell, Seanie.
