When in Sydney, do as the locals do. Conor Murray was one of a number of Lions to catch a few waves at Bondi Beach this morning. Well, he tried to catch a couple of waves at least.
As one of the touring party not involved in today’s clash with the NSW Waratahs, the Munster and Ireland scrum-half took to one of the most famous beaches in the world with Rory Best, Toby Faletau and Alex Cuthbert amongst others… and he probably met at least 50 Irish people when he was down there.

We’re not sure how good a surfer Murray is but he looked to be struggling in the water at one point this morning, when he happened to be photographed just at the exact moment he was about to fall backwards into the water.
