The Lions squad gathered together for a team dinner this evening and judging by a few tweets it’s fair to say the dress code wasn’t exactly formal, or even smart casual for that matter.
When sports teams are on tour and hemmed up in hotels for the vast majority of the time, it sometimes takes a little bit of silly behaviour to relieve the tension and to give the players a break from the serious business at hand.
That was obviously the case with the Lions in Sydney this evening when they gathered together for a team dinner and if a few tweets from Sean O’Brien, Ian Evans and Tommy Bowe this morning are anything to go by, the outfits were a little ridiculous to say the least.
