LISTEN: RTÉ Sport’s passionate commentary at full time in the Munster game is superb radio

Paul Moore

Anthony Foley

Such emotion.

Despite Keith Earls being sent-off during Munster’s  38-17  win against the Glasgow Warriors, the majority of people really hit the nail on the head when they said there was no way that Munster were going to lose that match.

Right from the kick-off, the men in red channeled the very best qualities of Anthony Foley as they delivered a performance that was committed, focused and passionate.

Thomond Park was a cauldron of emotion as the full-time whistle blew, these scenes of Anthony Foley’s sons singing ‘Stand Up and Fight’ will live long in the memory, and RTÉ Sport’s commentary team of Michael Corcoran, Des Cahill, Donal Lenihan and Denis Hurley perfectly captured the moment.

Have a listen.
