Manchester United ‘keeper David De Gea looks set to join Real Madrid

The saga looks like it has reached an end

The saga looks like it has reached an end.

It appears that David De Gea’s protracted move to Real Madrid is entering its final stages after the two clubs have agreed a fee for the talented ‘keeper.

Sky Sports pundit and esteemed journalist Guillem Balague has revealed that a €40m fee has been agreed with Costa Rican ‘keeper Keylor Navas being used in part-exchange.

It appears that the Real Madrid shot-stopper’s reluctance to move to Old Trafford was stalling the deal but he has since been convinced otherwise.

The move isn’t exactly a surprise given De Gea’s absence from Man Utd’s side this season but there’s no denying that he has been United’s best player over the past two seasons.

Sergio Romero hasn’t exactly convinced in his first few outings for Van Gaal’s men although Navas seems like the most likely alternative to fill the former Atletico Madrid ‘keepers gloves.

What do you think of this Man United fans?
