This man’s reaction to the Clare result is just priceless

Clare reaction Tipperary

Up The Banner!

Peter Duggan might never have to pay for pint in Clare again after his two late points helped to secure a dramatic victory for the Banner County. In the process, they’ve sent Tipperary crashing out of the 2018 All Ireland.

The victory at Semple Stadium was Clare’s first win over Tipperary in the championship in 15 years and the manner of the win was as dramatic as they come.

Right now, Clare are eyeing a Munster final as the Banner are second in the group with a game against Limerick to come.

We reckon that plenty of supporters were put through the ringer as the game entered its final stages, but it’s arguable that no one felt the pressure, nerves and tension quite like Christy Rosney from Killaloe, Co. Clare.

We’re told that Christy is currently living in Ballina, Co. Tipperary and that the pressure of living on ‘the other side of the bridge’ almost took its toll!

Christy’s niece, Edel Collins, sent us in this footage and it’s just marvellous to see – well, obviously not if you’re a Tipp fan.

FYI, there’s a bit of ‘racy’ language at the end of but given the dramatic context of the match and the sheer euphoria of winning, it’s 100% acceptable.

We reckon that every single supporter in Clare was also doing Christy’s little ‘hop, skip and a jump’ celebration as the final whistle blew.

Take a look.
