Mayo are the Connacht Senior Football champions after completing a 3-14 to 0-16 over Galway at Elverys McHale Park in Castlebar.
The first half was dominated by last year's All-Ireland finalists, with Lee Keegan's goal from a clever Cillian O'Connor pass helping them to a 1-09 to 0-5 interval lead.
Things did not get any easier for the Tribesmen after the break, despite a brief rally early in the second half, with further goals Jason Doherty and Barry Moran signifying the gulf in class between the two sides.
Shane Walsh was the hero for Galway, scoring 0-7 in total, but suffered disappointment at the end when his penalty was saved by Rob Hennelly.
