McGregor tells Brazil: There’s a new king in town and you’re looking at him

The Notorious faced down Jose Aldo’s biggest fans and came out smiling.

When the Brazilian crowds shouted, “you’re gonna die,” Conor McGregor responded with a deliberate “I’m still here!” and went about talking the talk.

McGregor is in Brazil for UFC 179 and, in particular, Jose Aldo’s fight against Chad Mendes tonight.

The Dubliner continues to angle for a fight with Aldo and told the Brazilian crowd that he back his words up with actions, and that he will prevail when the two eventually meet.

“I fill football stadiums, unlike your champion Jose,” he taunted,

“It is great to see a passionate Brazilian crowd. You are not as passionate as the Irish crowd, but you’re still ok.”
