Conor McGregor’s title fight against Jose Aldo next month is set to sell more than a million pay-per-view subscriptions.

“It will do over a million. It’s already tracking at over a million buys,” UFC boss Dana White said during a fan Q&A on the live streaming app Periscope.

“Conor thinks he’s going to do the biggest number ever. To be honest and realistic, I think it’s going to do over a million.

“There are no tickets. That thing is sold out.”

The fight takes place on July 11th and would generate more than $50m if White’s prediction were to come true.

McGregor, meanwhile, is seeing dollar signs.

“Money-wise? (I will make) more than the gate. I will make a hell of a lot of money.

“I am on the PPV now. I get a PPV cut. I will make three times more than Jose, and that is still not fair.”

He also expects PPV buys to hit seven digits.

He said: “Easily (over a million buys), I believe it breaks all records.

“Everything I do smashes records. Everything I touch turns to gold.”
