Munster and Leinster have named their teams for Saturday’s inter-pro derby

Peter O'Mahony makes his long awaited return...

Munster have made a total of eight changes to the team that lost to the Ospreys last weekend while Leinster have made just three changes to the team that defeated Cardiff in their clash in the RDS.

The big story is the inclusion of Peter O’Mahony on the replacements following a lengthy injury lay-off and his arrival is a welcome boost to injury plagued Munster. Damien Varley also makes the bench and is in line for his first appearance of the season.

Ian Keatley and Conor Murray make up the half-back pairing while there is no place in the backline for JJ Hanrahan who will have to make do with a place on the bench.

Felix Jones will captain the side from full-back while Andrew Smith is promoted to outside centre following his impressive cameo last week.

Leinster’s three changes have come in the pack with Jack McGrath, Mike Ross and Mike McCarthy coming into the team while Australian signing Kane Douglas has been named on the replacements.

The backline has remained the same with Ian Madigan retaining the number 12 shirt with Gordon D’Arcy outside him. Jimmy Gopperth and Eoin Reddan will be the half-backs for tomorrow’s fixture.
