Brian O’Driscoll will be fit ahead Leinster’s Heineken Cup final against Ulster this Saturday.

O’Driscoll who had been battling a knee injury that had left him out of the squad for most of the season had been declared a doubt by Leinster Joe Schmidt over the weekend, but has now been ruled in for the fixture this Saturday.

The Gods of rugby were smiling on Leinster as three of their other talismanic figures Rob Kearney, Cian Healy and Gordon D’Arcy were also declared fit in an update today despite picking up knocks in Leinster’s 19-15 win over Glasgow this weekend.

There was bad news for Eoin O’Malley however, he is out for up to six months with knee ligament damage.
