Paddy ‘The Hooligan’ Holohan to make next UFC appearance in October

He will face Louis Gaudinot in Canada on October 4th.

Irish flyweight Paddy Holohan is set to fight former Ultimate Fighter contestant Louis “Goodnight” Gaudinot on October 4 in Nova Scotia, Canada.

This will be the Dubliner’s second UFC appearance after his impressive debut win against Josh Sampo via rear-naked-choke at UFC Dublin last month.

This will be a step up for ‘The Hooligan’ as Gaudinot is ranked #13 in the already crowded UFC flyweight division and a win could set up a career highlight fight with a potential top ten opponent for the Dublin man.

It will be a busy night for the SBG Gym with Cathal Pendred and Gunnar Nelson fighting at UFC Stockholm on the same night and Holohan is understandably excited about the fight.

“I’m so grateful to the UFC for getting me back in the Octagon” commented Holohan “I don’t care who they put in front of me or where; I’m going to put on the same performance everyone saw in Dublin.”

“The whole SBG team have fights lined up now and the atmosphere in the gym in buzzing. I’ll be cheering on Conor the weekend before and I’ll definitely be watching Cathal and Gunnar from my dressing room as they fight in Stockholm on the same night.”

You can watch Paddy Holohan take on Louis Gaudinot at UFC Fight Night: McDonald vs Saffadine on October 4, on UFC Fight Pass and BT Sport.
