PIC AND VIDEO: Germany's players looked dejected leaving Dublin this morning
They now need to get Georgia on their minds.
Ireland's one-nil win must have been a shock to the system of Joachim Löw and his players because the world champions still need three points in their final match against Georgia to win the group and qualify for Euro 2016.
Despite dominating the match and creating the best chances, Shane Long's memorable strike means that Germany still have a job to do when they take on the Georgians in Leipzig.
Bayern Munich's wonderful attacker Thomas Müller had 'Die Mannschaft's' best chance when the ball broke to him in front of the goal but he missed the target from 12-yards out.
Naturally the world champions weren't in the best of moods when departing from Dublin Airport and JOE reader Shane Comerford was on hand to witness a fairly glum looking Thomas Müller.

We were also sent some footage from JOE reader John Keavney who spotted the German players arriving at their hotel in Dublin after the match. To say that the atmosphere was quiet is an understatement.
The footage is slightly out of focus but you can get the big picture.
