We never knew she was a fan of the GAA.
We love to see the GAA recognised abroad for the fantastic sport it is and we’ve seen the reactions of many famous stars in the past.
But we were very surprised today to see Judy Murray throw her proverbial hat into the GAA ring when she Tweeted her admiration for Colm Cooper.
Dear Colm Cooper.
You were my man of the match.
Wizard. #GAA— judy murray (@JudyMurray) April 24, 2016
We’re sure it’s not the first time Colm Cooper’s been described as a wizard but it was a surprise to see the compliment come from Judy Murray.
She was in Croke Park today to take in the National Football League final and following 1916 commemoration.
