Waterford were defeated in the Munster Final against Tipperary on Sunday in a disappointing game for the Déise.
The League champions have been in flying form all year but their undefeated streak came to a shuddering halt on Sunday when the ran into a 'Bubbles' O'Dwyer-inspired Tipperary.
Moments after the final whistle fans of both teams invaded the pitch and a young fan approached Waterford star Austin Gleeson just after he had put in 70 minutes of effort and come up short.
Many players would be forgiven for doing the bare minimum in regards to dealing with autograph and photo seeking supporters at such a time, but not Gleeson, have a read of the great story below...
