JOE always double checks that we have our shin-pads packed into our gear bag before he off to a game. We even pack an extra pair because there is always someone who forgets theirs.

The ragged looking gear, which looks like a piece of driftwood, appears to have German sports brand Uhlsport written on them, as well as his Bayern Munich number 31 and ‘Basti’.
We reckon that the midfielder probably has enough money to get himself some new ones.
