At least they are being transparent.
As reported earlier, the David Ginola campaign to become President of FIFA, which is backed by Paddy Power, is now in full swing.
He’s had his first official press conference and now details have emerged of the full breakdown of the cost of the campaign including the fee for Monsieur Ginola.
Which is planned on being raised from money from the public, we should add, apart from Ginola’s €250,000 fee.

Most seem to be dubious about the actual chances of Ginola ousting Blatter as FIFA president and indeed some have questioned the people backing him.
Not entirely sure a campaign backed by a publicity seeking bookmaker is the answer to all FIFA’s ethical problems.

Paddy Power have always been creative with their PR stunts, but this one seems a little silly and a bit of a waste of time.
