Arsenal retain the FA Cup.
Much like that long wait for a bus, Arsenal’s trophy-less run has been emphatically ended as the Gunners retained the FA Cup trophy with a commanding 4-0 win over Tim Sherwood’s Aston Villa at Wembley.
After a positive start for Villa, Arsenal really turned the screw and ran out comfortable winners thanks to goals from Walcott, Sanchez, Mertesacker and Giroud.
The win now means that Arsenal are the competitions most successful club with 12 wins and here’s how Twitter saw the match unfold.

Here to sing God Save the Queen, that dude that won Masterchef a couple of years back. #FACupFinal — Richie McCormåck (@RichieMcCormack) May 30, 2015
Clutching straws update: no applause from Grealish at the end of the anthem. No singing either.

Jack Grealish didn’t sing along to God Save the Queen. He should fit into the England squad nicely. — Benjamin Wills (@BenjaminWillsSJ) May 30, 2015
