Pic: Huge Paul O’Connell tribute flag unveiled in Limerick

Well deserved

JOE

A man who has given so much.

Paul O’Connell had his very own tribute flag unveiled in his honour above Brown Thomas on O’Connell St, Limerick last night, courtesy of Limerick City and County council.

The tribute is Limerick’s way of saying thank you to the man who has led the Munster team through the good times and the bad times in an amazing career.

#ThanksPaulie was trending last night with people tweeting their memories of the man off to French shores.

O’Connell is moving to play for the French Toulon club although he is still a part of the Ireland team for the Rugby World Cup.

We wish him all the best. #ThanksPaulie
