Pic: Ian Madigan and Danny Care had a nice way of making light of their schemozzle on Saturday night

Leinster ground out a hard-fought victory over Harlequins at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday in an edgy and fiery affair.

No moment summed up the intensity and passion of the game more than the little schemozzle that happened in the closing moments of the game and saw Harlequins lock Charlie Matthews earning himself a yellow card.

Ian Madigan and Harlequins scrum-half Danny Care can count themselves fortunate not to have followed Matthews to the bin as the pair seemed to be the initiators of the scuffle.

Both sporting “high n’ tight” haircuts and neither being the most physically imposing of player, maybe they both felt that there was only room for one of them on the pitch on Saturday and sought to eliminate the other.

Whatever started the brawl, it was all something about nothing and you can see from the Tweets that neither party held any grudges following the match and both seem to have moved on.
