Pic: If you ever needed proof that the GAA is like a religion in Ireland then here it is

This parish has their priorities right

This parish has their priorities right.

The first meeting between Cork and Kerry in the Munster Football final was so good that you wouldn’t be blamed for thinking that God himself planned the drama, skill and spectacle that was on display at Fitzgerald Stadium.

Fionn Fitzgerald’s late score along with some ‘questionable’ refereeing decisions means that the honour of ‘Munster Kings’ is still up for grabs as the sides meet each other again next Saturday in Killarney.

GAA is a religion in Kerry and that’s why we’re not surprised to see that the parish of Glenflesk has actually moved their usual mass time from 7pm on Saturday to 6pm just to facilitate those Kerry fans who would like to see the match.

Kerry Parish Time

JOE reader Danielle Favier brought this to our attention and she tells us that the priest announced the news in mass today so that all the parishioners could spread the word about the change of time.

We imagine that if the mass went ahead at the usual time of 7pm next Saturday then it might look something like like this.
