Serena Williams wrote another chapter into her incredible career this afternoon by claiming her sixth Wimbledon title and in the process completing the ‘Serena Slam’.
The 33-year-old now holds all four majors after a commanding 6-4 6-4 win against Spain’s Garbine Muguruza on centre-court.
Williams is now just one title away from equaling Steffi Graf’s stunning record in the competition but like all pro-athletes, Serena was targeted by a mindless troll on Twitter who claimed that the main reason for her success is that “she is built like a man”.
Usually a derogatory comment like the one below isn’t worth mentioning but I felt compelled to do so because Harry Potter author J.K Rowling responded with a fantastic reply.
