Good luck to him explaining the black card rule…
While yesterday’s match wasn’t the greatest advert for GAA as the game was so tight and intense, the free flowing football match we were hoping for never materialised.
But what a finish to the game that was…
Former Irish international Kevin Kilbane was working as a pundit on Match of the Day yesterday but that wasn’t going to stop him having a look at Dublin taking on Mayo in GAA headquarters.
Looking forward to #MOTD2 later but I'll definitely keep my eye on the big game @CrokePark . Come on @MayoGAA #upmayo #DUBvMAY

It just so happened that former Dutch international Ruud Gullit was on punditry duty alongside Kilbane yesterday and Kevin took the opportunity to promote our native game.
Currently @kdkilbane77 is trying to explain the rules of Gaelic football to Ruud Gullit in #motd2 office. Never thought I'd see that.

Gullit was suitably impressed by the action, surely the last ten minutes of the game could have converted even the most staunch soccer fan into a GAA head.
Ruud has seen a classic at @CrokePark #DUBvMAY https://t.co/qWzjKLwCrS

We reckon Gullit could transfer across some of those skills that won him the Ballon d’Or and become a half decent corner forward at Junior B level…
Hat-tip to 98FM.
