Brendan Rodgers must be a happy man this evening as Liverpool booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.
The seven-time winners had to do things the hard way though after falling behind to Fraizer Campbell’s goal in the 15th minute but goals from Sturridge and Lallana ensured the win.
We’ve frequently heard that being a manager can add years to those in the dugout but we’ve never seen a gaffer actually shrinking due to the stress.
