PIC: Liverpool were so bad that fans couldn’t get a taxi near Anfield while the game was still on

Taxi for Rodgers?

They say that a win’s a win but in Liverpool’s case, their penalty shoot-out triumph over League 2 Carlisle is indicative of the malaise that has set in at the club as Brendan Rodgers faces into the toughest period of his tenure so far.

The Anfield crowd even resorted to some uncharacteristic boos last night and it seems that a fair amount of Reds fans have lost faith with their manager following a shaky start to the season which sees the ‘Pool lying in 13th position, seven points behind leaders Man City after just 6 games played.

For many, being held to a draw over 90 minutes by Carlisle was the final straw for Rodgers as seen by the fact that a fair amount of Liverpool left the ground, even before extra-time had kicked off.

In my own opinion, fans should always stay until the very end but it’s their money after all.

Take a look at this image of the taxi queue that was taken outside of Anfield along with some pretty angry reactions from ‘Pool fans.
