He definitely has changed.
We’re certain that Rafael Benitez will enjoy a long, fruitful and problem-free reign at the Bernabeu because we all know that Real Madrid is a club that values managerial stability and a lengthy tenure.
The former Liverpool, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Valencia coach will become the clubs 7,976th coach in after being appointed this morning.
Benitez knows Real Madrid better than most having started his coaching career with their Castilla B side and his first coaching card with the club has cropped up.
It seems that Rafa has changed quite a bit from the young coach who had a slight resemblance to Jim’s dad from American Pie.
