PIC: Rafa Benitez was actually wearing South Park socks during today’s Tyne-Wear derby

"Screw you guys, I'm goin' home."

South Park is definitely one of the funniest TV shows to grace our screens over the past 20 years, but we'd honestly never have pegged Rafa Benitez for a superfan of the Matt Stone and Trey Parker creation. Nevertheless, he turned up today to manage Newcastle wearing a pair of socks dedicated to Eric Cartman - South Park's most famous rude, anti-Semitic, homicidal, obese fourth-grader. We've got the photo evidence to prove it, and we'll thank you for being kind enough not to compare Rafa's body-shape to that of Cartman's. No need for that kind of cruelty (plus we already just did it for you). https://twitter.com/ianbrannan/status/711548571854708737 The Toon Army will definitely respect his authority while he's wearing those, that's for sure.
