Not great reading.
Like all Irish football supporters, we’re huge fans of Everton full-back Seamus Coleman because the Killybegs man is unquestionably the best player Martin O’Neill has at his disposal .
The former Sligo Rovers defender has been rightfully linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs, Man Utd, Arsenal and Bayern Munich to name just three, but it seems that he still has a lot to learn.
Coleman gave a away a bizarre penalty this afternoon, scooping the ball up in his hands while under pressure from Gomis, but this isn’t the first time he’s been guilty of making a rash decision.
While this stat might be a bit harsh, the duration is a bit too much, it does make for interesting reading.
Take a look.
Seamus Coleman has conceded 3 penalties in the PL League since the start of 2013/14. Only Koscielny has caused more in that time (4).
