They grow up so fast…
Defenders in Spain are probably so terrified of Real Madrid’s goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo that they lie awake at night in fear of having to face the current Ballon d’Or holder.
Wherever Ronaldo has played he has turned defenders into quivering man-sized babies due to his awesome mix of pace, power and pure skill.
OK, so maybe defenders aren’t that afraid of the wonderfully gifted attacker, but there was a time, before the ego, tantrums and spectacular goals, when CR7 was just a wee lad learning his trade.
Take a look at this ID card from his time as a trainee in Sporting Lisbon. We reckon that Ronaldo would have been around nine when this photo was taken.
