Really powerful stuff…
The sporting world is still coming to terms with the tragic death of Australian cricketer, Phillip Hughes, who sadly lost his life this week after the 25 year old was hit in the head by a fast short-pitched ball on Tuesday during a match for South Australia against New South Wales.
This incredibly moving tribute video was one of the most powerful things that we have seen in a long time but some other people took to Twitter to pay their respects.
The one that started it all. So touching. So simple. “@Squizabilly: @smh #putoutyourbats #ripphilhughes pic.twitter.com/f8xET6PHw0”

And someone even posted a touching picture to rally behind Sean Abbott after it was his ball that accidentaslly struck Hughes in the neck.
I wish I knew how to use this as well as Phil did. The bat’s for him, the cherry’s for Sean #putoutyourbats pic.twitter.com/MuUY8WaT0q
