Given the incredibly physical nature of rugby, players pick up serious injuries on a regular basis; the type of injury that makes you shudder when you see it on TV.
You’d think that an injured finger wouldn’t rank among the most gruesome injuries suffered but try telling that to one Bradford rugby league player after what happened to him in training today.
Bradford’s Leon Pryce tweeted the below picture of what was claimed to be an unnamed team mate’s hand after training this morning; it might have been doing the rounds before but in any case, it’s pretty shocking.
Let’s just say whoever it was will remember to take his wedding ring off before training in future.
