Derek McGrath’s men landed the third league title in the county’s history with a commanding win at Thurles and their left corner back Noel Connors couldn’t resist a cheeky celebratory tweet to the PFA Player of the Year.
Chelsea’s inevitable Premier League title success was also confirmed yesterday and the Passage player was quick to pass on his regards.
Man of the Match Connors was immense yesterday and we wonder if the Belgian might fancy coming along to watch some of the Deise’s championship matches this summer.
