We’re sure that he doesn’t care.
Westmeath have pulled off one of the biggest shocks in U-21 hurling by beating Eddie Brennan’s Kilkenny 1-11 to 0-12 in their Leinster championship quarter-final at TEG Cusack Park.
The Lake County went into the break with a one-point lead, Darragh Clinton was their main threat early on scoring seven of their nine points in the first-half.
The decisive score of the game came through Warren Casserly though after the Castlepollard man manged to convert Killian Doyle’s delivery from close range to make it 1-9 to 0-9.
The Cats had the chance to snatch victory late on when they were awarded a penalty in the dying moments, but the ball was hit wide.
We’re certain that Casserly doesn’t mind picking up a few wounds after such a historic victory, but this one looks particularly nasty.
Fair play @batchcass! Even if it scars it'll have great memories! 🙈 #Westmeath #BGEU21 pic.twitter.com/PUvSH7bWnT

If Warren needs a reason to smile after that gruesome injury then here’s a look at what his goal means to the county.
