The Leinster Senior Football Championship Final takes places this Sunday with old rivals Dublin and Meath facing each other in Croke Park. It’s one of the classic matches in Gaelic Football, it’s one that the fans of both sides love and for an idea of what it means to those involved have a listen to what Ciaran Whelan had to say when he spoke to us about it the other day.

We all know Dublin are like an unstoppable juggernaut at the moment but that won’t bother Meath because they never fear playing the Dubs, so expectation and excitement is growing in the Royal County.

That excitement appears to be literally growing for a few Meath supporters who have been posting on The Hogan Stand GAA Forum. Let’s just say that if Mick O’Dowd’s men are winning on Sunday, be careful if you’re sitting near Htaem, royaldunne or bert09…
