The Dublin Fire Brigade has shared photos on Twitter of some of their fire engines gussied up for today’s game.
Dublin will take on Mayo today in a repeat of last year’s All-Ireland Football Final, and we already know whose side An Garda Síochána are on…
However, Dublin’s own fire brigade has also taken a happily partisan line on today’s final, putting Dublin flags on their trucks and even giving one a full “Pimp My Ride”-style makeover.
“For today we’ve a special Up The Dubs fire engine on the run for any Mayo fans that may need help on their way to Croke Park for,” they wrote on Twitter… Though we’re not sure anyone from Mayo would fancy asking the driver of this truck for help.

The Fire Brigade also warned drivers not to let flags obstruct their view of the road, providing this helpful visual aid.
Not long now… Whatever side you support drive sensibly and don’t let flags obstruct your view of the road. #DUBvMAYO #AllIrelandFinal pic.twitter.com/sYWudsaES7
