Let’s hope the Edinburgh team don’t wear clown masks tomorrow

To play professional rugby, especially on the wing, you need to be fearless as you fight off monster back rows and your opposite number trying to send you flying into the front row of the stands.

So we thought that Munster’s Simon Zebo would have a pretty high threshold for being frightened. And he did ring Rob Penney from the Lions tour to ask if he could be Munster captain, so he’s not short of some bottle.

But now we know that all it takes to terrify the Munster man is a place called The Nightmare Realm in Cork and an evil clown called ‘Shivers’.

The ‘scare house’ just erected in Cork’s Albert Quay, welcomed Zebo last night and as the pictures show, they managed to frighten the crap out the 23-year old.

The pictures tell their own story but we will cut Zebo, and his friends, a little slack, as clowns are bloody terrifying.
