Home of the Chicago Bears, Soldier Field, must be the largest World Cup viewing party in America today. What a turnout.
While the debate over whether America likes soccer or not is already over (they do) these pictures from Chicago show just how in live they are with their team and the World Cup.
Soldier Field, the home of the Chicago Bears NFL team, opened its door today for a huge viewing party for the Belguim game and the crowd that turned up is ridiculous.

In that picture you can see that the signal relaying the game briefly dropped but it quickly returned.
This shot gives an even bigger impression of how large the turnout is.
I was skeptical that #SoldierField would draw as big crowds as Grant Park. Think I’m being proven wrong. pic.twitter.com/m7L52CMNWZ

Considering the game is being played on a Tuesday afternoon Stateside, that is a serious show of support.
