This is just horrific looking…
Junior b doesn’t have the best of reputations when it comes to the purity of the hurling and some would argue, rightly or wrongly, that more than a few mean (pronounced main) scalps happen on the pitch.
Whether it’s the lazy fella who prefers to swipe rather than chase the man and make a tackle or the young pretender who wants to show all the auld fellas how tough he is, nobody is safe.
In a Tipperary junior b hurling game today between Golden Kilfeacle and Cashel, William Boles was on the receiving end of one of the worst cuts we’ve seen on a GAA pitch.
Luckily William is a tough old soul and he was fine afterwards, thanks to a few stitches.
It would have been all worth it if they’d managed to win the game but unfortunately, his side lost out to the Cashel men.
