If you happened to be passing by the Convention Centre last night, you would have noticed a stunning and fitting tribute to Brian O’Driscoll, whose testimonial dinner was being held inside.
High profile figures from the world of rugby and beyond gathered to pay tribute to Ireland’s greatest ever player last night in an event that raised over €600,000 for Temple Street Hospital and the ISPCC.
While gushing praise was no doubt flowing to O’Driscoll inside, there was a quite special tribute paid on the exterior of the Convention Centre building, with a series of images and messages commemorating his time with both Leinster and Ireland over the years.
Class.
