So close, but yet so far
NBC have invested plenty of money into their coverage of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, and are showing a huge range of events from luge to skeleton to snowboarding.
Of course, one of the events that will have a huge following both in North America and around Europe is ice hockey, and the United States taking on Russia is undoubtedly the most mouthwatering clash of the early rounds. However, NBC don’t seem to have put as much investment into their vexillology department as they should have after the mismatched these flags with these countries for that big game.

So close, and yet so, so wrong. Perhaps they could do with a look at ‘Fun with Flags’ by Professor Sheldon Cooper, as could the BBC, as we saw last week.
