Can we pick ourselves up?
OK, so yesterday was a pile of shite.
Ireland’s 3-0 defeat to Belgium in Bordeaux may not have spelled the end of our Euro 2016 dream – especially with six third-placed teams going into the knockout rounds – but things are not looking great.
That being said, a win against Italy next Wednesday and Martin O’Neill’s men will have every chance of staying in France for at least one more game, and then who knows?
The Italians are expected to rest a number of key players as their passage to the last 16 has already been assured, and the Fans in Green will be out in force in Lille to support the Irish players.
It’s not going to be easy, but we want to know if you think we can beat the Italians?
