POLL: Who was Ireland’s best player in the Euro 2016 group stages?

Tony Cuddihy

We have a feeling two old friends will be neck-and-neck.

Jeff Hendrick and Robbie Brady have been playing football together since they were six or seven-years-old, and they’ve taken their understanding on the international stage with Ireland over the last week and a half.

Hendrick’s energy and attacking endeavour have been evident since early in the Sweden game, while Brady made us all collectively lose our shit with this winner against Italy. Wes Hoolahan, James McClean, Seamus Coleman and Shane Long have also given plenty of reason for optimism against France.

There is, hopefully, more to come but we want to know who you think was Ireland’s best player in the group stages?
