Does work really come first?
Unless, like me, you’re working the earliest of early shifts in order to make it home in time for the match, you’re going to have a bit of a dilemma when it gets to the late afternoon.
The match against Sweden kicks off at 5pm, but if you think you’re getting a decent spot in the pub after 4pm you’ll be very much mistaken.
So, what do you do? You need to either hope for a very forgiving boss or to start ‘feeling a bit off’ after lunch. It’s all about planning.
