Premier League scorecast: Kane to be the difference

We fancy Spurs to come away with all three points

JOE

Manchester United still have to play Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea after today’s game against Spurs.

Of course, United aren’t the only side with a tough run-in. But they are the only Champions League chasing team that still doesn’t know their best formation.

This mightn’t be a problem if Louis Van Gaal can continue grinding out results. But performances are hardly what the board and the supporters would have expected after the huge injection of transfer cash the team has received.

Speaking of huge transfers, Angel Di Maria misses today’s game due to the red card he received against Arsenal, while Jonny Evans is also suspended.

Robin Van Persie is out injured while Marcus Rojo is a doubt. Spurs have a fully fit squad.

United’s poor performances are bound to catch up with them and we reckon today will be the day that happens.

They haven’t defeated Spurs in their last five attempts and we reckon Mauricio Pochettino will extend that run to six.

His side have been playing excellent football and are quietly getting themselves back into contention for the Champions League places.

The incentive of going level on points with United should push Spurs on to defeat a United team that has often looked average this year.

Harry Kane has scored in his last six away league games and we’re backing him to get the only goal of the game.

This is priced at 50/1.
