Time to start getting excited United fans?

In one of the longest running sagas of this summer, Man United’s move for Pedro has taken another turn according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

They are reporting that Pedro has agreed a verbal deal with the Red Devils despite late interest from rivals Manchester City.

One possible deal breaker could be the fee Man United are willing to pay the Catalans for the winger’s services.

Rumours suggest they’ve lodged a bid of €25 million with another €5 million in add ons, but it’s thought that City have bid €30 million plus add ons for the diminutive Spaniard.

However, the paper also states that Pedro is keen to stick to his word and that his deal to Man United will go ahead in the next couple of days.

Whether or not the two clubs can agree a fee is unclear at this stage but one must think that the move is more than likely going to go ahead in the coming days.

Will he be a good signing for Louis Van Gaal’s team?
