What a season for the Dubliner.

Robbie Keane has been named the Major League Soccer MVP for this season so basically he’s the best player in America.

It’s Keane’s fourth season with LA Galaxy and he’s been in fantastic form scoring 19 goals and laying on 14 assists in 29 appearances. That’s productivity folks.

Keane beat off competition from Seattle Sounders striker Obafemi Martins and New England Revolution’s Lee Nguyen for the individual prize.

The Ireland striker was also named on the MLS Team of the Year last night, not a bad few days for the former Spurs player.

LA Galaxy take on New England Revolution in the MLS Cup Final on Sunday.
